New molecules and strategies against re-emerging viruses
First PANVIRIDE
drug discovery conference
Save the date: September 30, 2025Launched from the INF-ACT network and endorsed by the Italian Chemical Society, the PANVIRIDE consortium successfully hosted the First Antiviral Meeting Powered by Medicinal Chemists, a one-day event that brought together global experts in antiviral drug discovery, from computational design to in vivo studies.
The programme featured eight invited lectures delivered by leading international experts in the antiviral field, showcasing the latest advances in medicinal chemistry, virology, pharmacology, molecular biology, and translational medicine, all aimed at tackling infectious diseases.
Participants in this inaugural edition also had the opportunity to attend two Satellite Events, focused on antiviral research, free of charge. These events took place on September 29th and October 1st and provided additional insights and discussions complementing the main conference programme.
The event marked a significant step in fostering collaboration and knowledge exchange among scientists dedicated to innovative antiviral drug discovery.
